And Don't Forget the Fun

As designers, we often take it for granted that we have the best job in the world! We get to brainstorm ideas, sketch out weird and wacky solutions, add colour and pzazz to plain blank paper or monitors, turning simple words into a beautiful typographic tableaux.

Sometimes we forget to pass on to our clients, the fun inherent in working through the creative process, as we navigate through a kaleidoscopic and innovative solution which suits their design requirement. This might be common place to us, but on their own most of our clients don't often get the opportunity during their day-to-day tasks to be visually creative or indeed in collaboration with a designer. We recently discussed this in the Studio, and we decided that even though we try to keep our clients abreast of the process and progress of their job, perhaps there is more we could do to get them involved...
